FAMILY AFFAIR

In what turned out to be a rather one sided affair, paul and ger lavery beat Eoin riordan and gerry foley by 2 bowls of odds.  Paul started the contest with a great first shot and ger followed up with a mighty second shot to below the trailer to raise a bowl of odds which the never looked like giving up. The score remained this way until the second last shot when Eoin misplaced his bowl to leave two bowls in the score and the husband and wife team strolled over the line for an impressive win. (stake 210)

In the second score of the night adrian lappin upset the favourite fergal carr with an entertaining battle. fergal started badly with two weak throws that let adrian gain a bowl of odds. fergal tried hard on the home stretch but just couldnt pull back the lost ground with lappin recording his first victory over fergal in 4 years.
